Work in progress (Berlin, Germany)
In the heart of Berlin’s thriving techno culture, looking to preserve anonymity and authenticity, the no-camera policie have become a well known form of resistance. This project explores how this rule protect human connection in nightlife.
Under the use of circular stickers blocking smartphones lenses, these objects act as silent witnesses to spaces where people are liberated and encouraged to be fully present in the moment.
This work is a visual homage to the ethos of Berlin’s nightlife, urging us to rethink our relationship with the smartphone and social media, and honor the fleeting beauty of unrecorded, shared experiences.
