In a world where technology advances relentlessly, certain objects are left behind, becoming relics of a recent past. Payphones, once iconic symbols of urban communication, now stand as silent monuments to a fading era. This photographic project explores these booths across Mexico City—objects that continue to occupy public spaces, marked by traces of use, abandonment, or repurposing.

This photojournalistic project visually documents a remarkable story: one man donning the iconic Batman suit not to fight crime but to combat something equally profound—childhood suffering.
Through his silent yet powerful actions, Batman becomes a beacon of hope for the young patients of the Pediatrics Hospital “Sor María Ludovica”, also known locally as “The Children’s Hospital”. His visits are not about grand theatrics or gadgets, but about creating fleeting moments of joy, laughter, and escape for children enduring some of the most challenging times of their lives.
