«Bring your own icebox» is a collection of images captured during the festival known as «Woodstock Navideño» between 2014 and 2018. This self-organized celebration, led by the close-knit community of the Berisso neighborhood (Buenos Aires, Argentina), emerged as an act of reclaiming the streets after the traditional Christmas toast.

In this nocturnal ritual, neighbors poured into the streets to share a night of live music, dancing, and artistic expression. Iceboxes in tow, the community transformed public space into a vibrant hub of self-management, creativity, and joy—a symbol of belonging and local resistance.

The festival not only amplified the spirit of celebration but also reflected a profound connection to the neighborhood, where the streets became a stage for grassroots artistry and collective empowerment.
